Your team participated in Porto - Castelo Branco. Joppe Marant finished 1st as your best rider. You earned 18000$.
This was the result, of Joppe's first time ever as a captain.
A win!
Joppe's first words on this wonderful debut was; "Today was me and my team's day. This win is not only important for me, but also for the team!" he said very humble.
The manager of Team Crazy Downhillers was proud of his rider today. Joppe Marant has been training and preparing himself for this race. It's an important victory - both for Joppe Marant but also for the team.
The teams normal climbingcaptain Umberto Impelliteri came in a little bit after Joppe, and was surprised how fearsome Joppe was. He had never tried riding against a stronger climber he stated, and he was "sure, that this guy can get a lot of wins in his carrier".
And speaking of training, Joppe is now training harder than ever before, to be ready to help Chris Bauwens in this seasons Germany Tour.

Ah, starting a hill team I see...
Thanks Eric :)
He maxed in TQ, at TQ-level 64. He is training FR now :)
Woow a very nice climber! Congrats!
Training Costs: I don't remember what his TQ started at. However, his CL/DH/HL started at 43/26/32, If we assume TQ started at 25, then current costs (TQ:54) are at 312k...plus purchase price.
haha i will never get that much money ;)
put a 0 more on it, and we can talk :)
So because Joppe was a little lucky, your selling Bauwens to me for 50k ? :O
I have crossed the 400k-mark (inclusive buying him), thats what i know :)
Cool. It would be interesting to see how much did all the training cost :)
I am thinking of it, but it depends on when he maxes :)
First victory of many to come:) You should consider using him as captain in GT instead of Bauwens
Nope not yet. Only in CL, DH and HL. Latest report:
This action costs 4000 and will leave Joppe Marant with 56 technique points - an increase of 2.
:)
Very very very nice rider, is he maxed?
Thanks Joris and Greeny :p
And yes, 98 cl.. would have prefered 99 ;p
Congrats bro! And wtf, CL 98 :o
Joppe is a beast. Incrediblle.
Well, Belgians are bad in English.
We knew Joppe had great potential, but were not prepared to commit to a climbing team. ScotterPop are very pleased to see that Joppe is turning out to be the monster we hoped for, even for another team.
That sentence is from the actual racereport :P
"Today was me and my team's day." The day is mine unless you are physically connected to the day and become one with it. But if they day is yours in a possesive way, you should have used the "mine" version.
And the double day use, is just wrong.
